- partial_coverage — OS Open Greenspace sites within the parish boundary, restricted to function types classed as publicly accessible (see ADR-0008); excludes allotments, religious grounds, cemeteries and golf courses. OS Open Greenspace itself does not include CRoW open-access country or common land, so this systematically undercounts true accessible green space, not just an estimate of the counted types. Population denominator is the mid-2021 parish estimate; the greenspace layer itself is OS's current periodic-refresh snapshot, not dated to a single year.

What this means
Draft wording: awaiting review by the parish council.
Accessible green space is land the public can use, such as parks, playing fields, play areas and sports facilities. The dashboard shows how much there is for each resident.
Green space helps people stay active, meet neighbours and feel calmer. It also gives wildlife room to live and helps soak up rain. A higher figure is better.
We add up mapped sites that the public can use inside the parish. The map data leaves out open countryside and common land. We also do not count allotments, churchyards, cemeteries or golf courses. So the figure is more likely to be too low than too high. We do not measure how good a site is, or how easy it is to get to from your front door.
